With in the background the constant news flow of the Syrian war and the total destruction of Aleppo, Michiel Alberts drew with a repetitive movement 110 ink drawings.

With a constant news flow of the Syrian war and the drowning of refugees, in the background, Michiel Alberts worked from 2015 till 2016 on his Catastrophe project. It resulted in 4 black boxes of different sizes, each containing a large number of drawings. The drawings were made as a continuous repetitive movement.
